Registration is closed
Two classes - must attend both. First class is February 18. Second class is scheduled for March 4. Registering here accounts for both.

Piloting and Navigation.  Piloting involves navigating a vessel in restricted waters and fixing its position as precisely as possible at frequent intervals. Team PSC will help you learn, among other things, lines of position, dead reckoning, ranges, estimated positions, running fixes, and danger bearings. This is a two day class and is part of the ASA 105 certification.

Testing for ASA 105 will be administered late March (date TBD). Stay tuned to the event calendar for the Winter Training test day.

Participation must have a "Nav Kit" for this course.  If you do not have your own, for registrations occurring before February 12, you can order a Kit through us at a reduced cost of $45.  This is a significant saving from purchasing these items on your own.  This kit includes:

(1)  6" fixed point dividers (Weems & Plath item #262),
(2)  nautical slide rule (item #105), and
(3)  compact parallel plotter (item #60)
