Monthly
Membership meetings - PSC membership meetings are
held each month, except in December when the
annual Holiday Party & Awards Dinner takes the place of the regular
membership meeting. We
normally have dinner together, hear from a guest speaker, and then conduct a business meeting. All year
long, it's a good time!

PSC monthly membership meetings
are held each month except December when the Annual PSC
Holiday Party & Awards Dinner takes the place of the membership meeting. Meetings start at 7:00
pm, but as always, plan on coming early to have some food and drink and hang around with other
sailors.
Not a member? Interested in sailing or learning to sail? Come to the
meeting anyway and learn
about our club, our sailing classes, and our sailing opportunities on the
Potomac River, Chesapeake Bay, and elsewhere.
All are welcome!!

McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant on Crystal Drive at the corner of 20th
Street South and Crystal Drive.
Meeting notes: Peter
Trogdon, president of Weems & Plath, will be speaking on the History of
Navigation at the Pentagon Sailing Club's February 27, 2012 meeting. A
history lesson? Navigation? You will be surprised at what you will learn
about how history impacts navigation today. Take a journey of 4,000 year
evolution of marine navigation highlighting the world's greatest explorers
and famous inventors who developed navigation instruments.
Peter is an excellent speaker. He loves all maritime museums
and is an avid cruiser having logged 15,000+ ocean miles. He has agreed to
volunteer his time to meet with our club. Mark your calendar for February
27th and bring your sailing friends.
Free
parking (after 4:00pm) at the underground garage next door on Crystal Drive.

proposed PSC 30th Birthday Round the Chesapeake Bay 7-day sail in September 1st
through 8th.
