ASA 104 Bareboat Cruising Certification (a 4-day, 3-night sail)

Beneteau 393, Blown Away

Mike Moreau

This a unique opportunity to gain real sailing experience while earning ASA's 104 Bareboat Cruising certification. Club member Mike Moreau and his wife have reserved a slip in Rock Hall for the Pirates and Wenches Festival, 8 - 12 August. They are looking for crew to move their Beneteau 393, Blown Away, from their slip at the Capital Yacht Club in DC to Annapolis from 4 -7 August, and are willing to do it as an ASA 104 opportunity. This four-day, three-night trip will give you more than enough experience to demonstrate confidently all the required skills and knowledge covered by the ASA 104 course so that you can charter a boat.

The boat will have two available cabins and can accommodate two students/couples each direction. The owners will drop off and pick up the candidates in Annapolis.

Crew will be planning menus and preparing those meals; breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Your fee covers ASA certification and textbook. Food, drinks on board and ground transportation are the crew's responsibility.
