Challenge the ASA 101 and/or 103 Courses
PSC is offering the opportunity for club members with previous sail training and experience to challenge the ASA 101 and 103 courses during this session. ASA 101 and 103 certifications will be awarded upon successfully challenging the courses. The challenge involves successfully completing an on-the-water evaluation by a club instructor and passing the ASA 101 and 103 written exams. To challenge the course you must first submit your sailing resume to the Training Commodore for approval to challenge the course.
Challenge fee includes costs related to ASA 101 and 103 exams. We will issue an ASA Logbook for future use upon successful completion. ASA textbooks will not be provided for the Challenge Course as this material should be familiar to sailors with sufficient experience to challenge the course.
You may preliminarily register for this event but registration will be cancelled if a sailing resume is not received within 48 hours of registration.
