Celebrate Daingerfield Island Sailing Club's 50th anniversary with a day of racing! There will be multiple races throughout the day, followed by burgers, drinks, and awards at the grove at Washington Sailing Marina.

The Three Bridges Fiasco is a longer mid-summer race with some "flexibility" in how you sail the course. Start in either direction and take the marks in any order you choose. The pursuit-style start allows boats to be scored in finishing order. There will be trophies and burgers after the finish. In case of light winds, the course will revert to a Two Bridges Course.

The Mount Vernon Boomerang will begin just south of the Wilson Bridge and round a mark just off Mount Vernon. This is a longer race, and a great opportunity to see some scenery further from our usual venue.

This charitable fundraiser is sponsored by the Old Dominion Boat Club and supports both the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the ODBC Foundation. We'll rally at Capital Cove Marina at 8:00 am. The Mount Vernon Chase is a pursuit-style race. Each boat will be given an individual start time, based on PHRF. Boats will be scored in the order in which they cross the finish line, rather than having times corrected afterwards. This is a longer race, and it's a great opportunity to enjoy the fall colors and see some scenery further from our usual venue.

This is a longer race, on either a two or three bridges course. Expect to begin at N4 and race to the Wilson Bridge, South Capitol Street Bridge on the Anacostia River, and 14th Street Bridge on the Potomac branch.
The Frostbite Regatta is the racing squadron's last on-the-water event of the year. We'll pull any remaining boats out of the water and winterize them immediately following the race.
