Social Sail and WoW Skippers
Skipper sailboats with up to 4 PSC crew members in a social educational setting.
How to become a WoW and Social Sail skipper
After you complete 101/103 join WoW or Sign up for Wednesday Social Sails.
When you feal ready, request or download a Social Sail Wow Checklist and start working through the skills and Local Area information.
When your finished with the checklist request a check ride from an ASA 201/203 certified River Instructor. Usually takes 1 to 2 years sailing on the river.
Ask the Commodore to add you to the Skipper List.
WoW and Social Sail Skippers are interchangable.
Racing and Training Skippers can skipper at WoW and Social Sail Events
Training Skippers
Teach the Classroom and On The Water sessions of ASA 101 and 103.
How to become an Instructor
3 yrs Sailing experience and become ASA 201/203 Certified.
Serve as an assistant instructor at least three times.

How to Become a Racing Skipper
Complete ASA 101/103 and join the racing team.
When your ready ask to become a skipper the racing Commodore will furnish you with a checklist and the requireents. Usually 2 to 3 years.
