Doug will talk about the Marine Surveying process and answer any questions.  His bio is at the bottom of this message.

Doug McDaniel recently retired after 33 years with the Alexandria Fire Department. In 2012, he apprenticed with True Heading as a marine surveyor then took over the day-to-day operations of, and is now the owner of, True Heading Marine Surveying and Consulting. Doug has done hundreds of marine surveys. He is a member in good standing of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors (SAMS®) as an Accredited Marine Surveyor®. In addition, he is a member of the International Association of Marine Investigators, Inc. (IAMI), American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC), National Fire Protection Association, and the Aquia Harbour Yacht Club (AHYC).  Doug's hobbies include boating and working on his boats, coaching youth baseball, golfing, playing and watching baseball, and playing guitar in a local rock band.
