What: River Team's "Splashing" of the PSC River Boat Line: Aquila, Falcon, Gannett, and Peregrine

Time: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Location: Capital Cove Marina, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, DC

Why: To prepare for an exciting season of sailing on the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers

Bottom line: Come join the fun and camaraderie as the PSC River Team "splashes" the boats in preparation of the 2019 sailing season on the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers.   The boat captains have spent cold (and sometimes warm) winter days constantly checking the boats and drafting their maintenance plans.  As we head into spring, the Boat Captains and their respective team members will conduct pre-season maintenance to ensure the boats will be safe and available for the PSC's busy training, social, and racing events. 

So join us on Saturday, 16 March and help splash the boats.  It will be fun and enjoyable as the camaraderie among the River Team members is infectious. Another reason for coming out is to learn the intricacies and nuances of boat maintenance.  Of course, there will be plenty of sea stories shared as well.  

By the way,  the River Team will provide donuts, bagels, and coffee/water for the morning crew plus pizza soda/pop/water/gatorade for the afternoon crew.
