"Sail Fast!"

Come hear our seasoned Racing Captain *David and Carl, his deputy, talk to us about "Sailing Fast"!- tips on trimming sails or "playing" with your boat to get the most aerodynamics. You may even get some fun stories about the Racing Squadron in the process! Plus, we will FINALLY be meeting in person at Rhodeside Grill in the bar area and room downstairs. 

Plus, we may have our PSC burgees to pass out (if they ship in time) and we will talk briefly about the Labor Day Raft Up. To top it off, you could be the lucky winner of a $25 West Marine gift certificate!  

Happy Hour and networking starts at 6:00 pm and  the meeting starts at 7:00 pm.  We recommend that you come early to have some food and drink and hang around with other sailors. Your choice, but we do encourage mask wearing for any unvaccinated members. Join us! it will be fun!

*David took on the Racing Captain role in 2016 and Carl has been on board since 2018.  At least during the pandemic,  Racing  on the Potomac has been a place that homebound sailors have escaped to for a change of scenery and fun (even with masks!)
