Come join us for our second Sunday Social Sail of 2026!!!
Here's your chance to take a little time before the new work week and join some of your fellow PSC members for a social sail on the Potomac. This Sunday format is a bit new/experimental as for times, so we may adjust somewhat.
There are two options: 1) $10: 2-6 pm, Sail only.
2) $200: 2pm - sunset, Sail to Alexandria City Dock, 1 hour stop for tapas at Barca Restaurant, return to JBAB by sunset.
Boats depart the docks by 2:30 PM or as soon as a skipper has a full crew. All boats must be tied back up in their slips before sunset.
Come out and join us and practice your sailing. You might pick up a tip or be able to share your tips with each other in this relaxed atmosphere. Oh, did we mention that it's only $10/$20 to participate (& free for Skippers). How much better can it get?!

NOTE TO ALL: Capacity is totally dependent on how many Skippers sign up. No skipper, no boat. If you are considering being a Skipper (see requirements below), but need some orientation and/or a bit more practice, let us know. We'll figure something out.
NOTICE: Guest registrations are now allowed. If you wish to sail with family members, consider a Family Membership.
NOTE: We are always looking for Skippers!
To be a Skipper on a Social Sail, a member must be pre-approved in accordance with the PSC Training and Qualifications Policy. Generally that requires: completing ASA 101/103, three sails on the Potomac within the past two years subsequent to 101/103, a Boater Safety Card, and having sailed once on the Potomac each season prior to Skippering.
