What: River Team's "Commissioning" of the PSC River Fleet: Aguila, Falcon, Gannett, and Peregrine

When: Saturday, 20 March 2021 (Rain Date: Sunday, 21 March)

Time: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Location: Capital Cove Marina, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), Washington, DC

Why: To prepare for an exciting season of sailing on the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers.

Bottom line: Come join the fun and camaraderie as the PSC River Team prepares our Catalina Capri 22 fleet for the 2021 sailing season on the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers.   The boat captains have spent cold (and sometimes warm) winter days constantly checking the boats and drafting their maintenance plans.  As we head into springtime, the boat captains and their respective crews will conduct pre-season maintenance to ensure the boats will be safe and available for the PSC's busy training, social, and racing events. 

So join us on Saturday, 20 March and help commission* the boats.  It will be fun and enjoyable as the camaraderie among the River Team members is infectious.

The current Health Protection Condition on JBAB is BRAVO.  We will wear masks and practice social distancing to comply with the installation's COVID-19 risk mitigation policy.

*The River Team will splash the boats on Wednesday, 31 March
